5. Analytics, cookies and similar technologies

We use Google Analytics 4, connected through Google Site Kit, to understand how visitors use the website. Analytics may process information such as pages visited, approximate location, device type, browser and interactions with the site.

Non-essential analytics technologies are only enabled after you provide consent through the Complianz cookie banner. You can reject non-essential technologies or change your preferences at any time using the Cookie Settings control.

Google may process Analytics information outside the United Kingdom. More information is available in Google’s Privacy Policy.

Details of the technologies identified on this website, their purposes and durations are available in our Cookie Policy.

6. Client project and platform data

When delivering automation, reporting, monitoring or workflow services, we may process information held within a client’s platforms or systems.

Where a client determines why that information is processed and Efficiency Engine acts only on the client’s documented instructions, the client remains the data controller and Efficiency Engine acts as a data processor.

The scope, purpose, access arrangements, retention, confidentiality requirements and responsibilities for that processing will be defined in the relevant agreement or data-processing terms.

Client data is not reused to provide services to another client. Access is limited to what is reasonably necessary to deliver and support the agreed work.

✓ Specialist subcontractors where necessary for agreed client work and appropriate protections are in place.

Service providers are only given the information reasonably necessary to perform their role. We do not sell personal information.

8. International data transfers

Some technology providers may store or process information outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we use providers and arrangements designed to provide an appropriate level of protection.

Depending on the destination and provider, protections may include UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

You may contact us for further information about the safeguards relevant to a particular transfer.

9. How long we keep information

✓ General enquiries and unsuccessful proposals are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact.
✓ Client, contract, project and financial records may be retained for up to six years after the relevant relationship ends.
✓ Analytics information is retained according to the settings applied within Google Analytics and reviewed periodically.
✓ Cookie and consent information is retained for the periods described in the Cookie Policy.
✓ Information may be retained longer where required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

When information is no longer required, it is deleted, anonymised or securely disposed of.

We use proportionate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, but we regularly review the measures appropriate to the information and systems involved.
